NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED REGULATORY ACTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA) pursuant to Title 2, Division 1, Chapter 7.5, Section 8692(e) of the Government Code, has developed proposed regulations to administer Article 6, Nonprofit Organizations. In accordance with the California Rulemaking Law under the Administrative Procedure Act, the Cal EMA proposes to take this regulatory action after considering all public comments and recommendations.
NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that the Cal EMA is conducting a public hearing as formally requested during the public comment period and in compliance with the rulemaking process. The public hearing will take place on Thursday, June 17, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cal EMA office at 3650 Schriever Avenue, Multipurpose Room 2, Mather, California 95655. This hearing is open to the public. This facility is accessible to people with disabilities.
NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSO GIVEN that this public hearing is the time and place set for the presentation of comments and recommendations orally and in writing regarding the proposed regulations. All written and oral statements submitted or made during this hearing shall be taken under consideration. The entire proceeding will be recorded by a certified shorthand reporter. The transcript and all exhibits and evidence presented in this hearing will be included in the rulemaking record for these proceedings. There will be no response to comments provided during this public hearing. Responses will be in the rulemaking file. The rulemaking file will be available upon official request.
